Car Insurance MINI (Car Insurance). Mazda 2 or ford fiesta?

Mazda 2 or ford fiesta? which one is better?????

NEVER go for a fiesta or any fords cept for mustangs and gt40s Mazda 2 I would take a pass on them both. They are good cars, but they are not great cars. I would spend just a little more & get into a Mazda 3 instead if you wanted a Mazda. As far as the Ford goes, the all new 2012 Focus is out & it's said to be a substantial improvement over the last model. If your considering GM, the new Cruze gets killer reviews. The Eco model gets 42mpg/hwy & that's still way better than the Mazda or Ford. Cheers! Mazda 2 I had a Fiesta for about a week as a loaner car and it sucked the transmission was always busy shifting and it was kinda gutless. The Mazda 2 is more rewarding I have drove one of them to and it is a superior car, good power, good handling, interior has more room (kinda cheap plastics but it is an economy car), and just better design all around. ford fiesta! we've had ours for years :) Mazda 2. The CVT transmission on the Fiesta can be problematic. Ford Fiesta Both vehicles are essentially the same. The CVT is only available in Japan. Both are based on the Ford Global B platform Mazda 2. Even that both cars have a lot of parts in common, Mazda is more trustworthy car. Mazda is fitted in Japan and the quality control there is much higher than in other countries. apart from that, gear boxes are made in Japan which is also very important. As a vehicle controler/specialist Ford cars from 1990 till now are below the average.

MINI . How to Replace a 1993 Buick Century Fuel Pump

The Buick Century is a mid-size car manufactured by the Buick division of General Motors. The 1993 model belongs to the fifth generation of the Century, produced from 1982 to 1996. The engine in a 1993 Buick Century may be a four-cylinder 2.2L engine or a six-cylinder 3.3L engine. Both of these engines use fuel injection, requiring a high-pressure fuel pump. The fuel pump in the 1993 Buick Century attaches to the fuel tank, which you must remove in order to replace the fuel pump.
Difficulty:Challenging
Instructions Things You'll Need
Socket wrench set
Jack stands

Step by Step :
1
Loosen the filler cap of the fuel tank and raise the the vehicle on jack stands. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pump and lower the vehicle. Start the engine and allow it to run until the engine stalls. Crank the engine for three seconds to consume any remaining fuel in the fuel lines.
2
Disconnect the cable for the negative battery terminal with a socket wrench. Raise the vehicle on jack stands and drain the fuel tank. Detach the electrical wiring from the fuel tank, including the ground wire under the body of the vehicle. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel tank. Support the fuel tank with a jack stand and remove the nuts on the fuel tank's retaining strap with a socket wrench. Lower the fuel tank with the jack stand and remove it from the vehicle.
3
Disconnect the fuel filter from the fuel pump by twisting it and pulling it off the fuel pump. Discard the fuel filter. Detach the electrical connector for the fuel sending unit and remove the fuel sending unit from the fuel tank. Pull the fuel pump from its mounting bracket on the fuel sending unit.
4
Install the new fuel pump onto the fuel sender assembly between the mounting bracket and the pulsator. Connect the electrical connector for the fuel sender assembly. Place the fuel filter into position on the fuel pump and push the fuel filter until it is fully seated.
5
Install the fuel sending unit onto the fuel tank and connect the fuel tank. Check the fuel system for leaks and connect the battery cable to the negative terminal of the battery with a socket wrench.

MINI . Where Is the Fuel Pump in a Camry?

Late-model Toyota Camrys have a fuel pump that can be accessed from a hatch under the back seat. In models made before 1992, the fuel tank has to be dropped to get to the fuel pump so this is a vast design improvement. Always unplug the negative battery cable, before accessing the fuel pump, as you will need to open the fuel tank and any spark could ignite the fuel vapors and cause an explosion.
Remove the Back Seat
Open the back door of the Camry and remove the back seat. Pull the back of the seat up and over the studs that hold it in place. You may have to wiggle it a bit to get it to come up; but once you have raised the back of the seat, you can pull the whole seat up and then out of the vehicle.
Find the Fuel Tank's Hatch
Look in the middle of the ledge where the back seat was mounted. You will see a round, sealed port. This port opens the gas tank. This is much more convenient than older cars where you had to take the gas tank off of the vehicle to access the pump.
Open the Hatch
Use a flat head screwdriver and a hammer to open the hatch. There is a round sealing ring around the edges of the port and over the hatch. Place the screwdriver on the side of the tab that is sticking up from the ring and tap it counterclockwise until the ring comes loose. Remove the ring.
Remove the Hatch
Unplug the electrical connector and the two fuel lines on the top of the hatch. Pull the hatch up and out of the tank. Turn the hatch over and you will see the fuel pump and the sending unit. The fuel pump is cylindrical, about 2-1/2 inches long and is in a cradle that holds it to the bottom of the hatch.

Lug nuts are those big nuts that hold the wheel in place. Most garages retighten them with a power tool, and unless you've done the job yourself by hand, they're going to be pretty hard to loosen. (Take my advice in Chapter 2 and buy a cross-shaft lug wrench. Figure 2-20 shows what one looks like.) Before you begin, you have to ascertain whether the lug nuts on the wheel you're working on are right-hand threaded or left-hand threaded. This isn't a "left-handed hammer" joke; the threads determine which way you turn the wrench. The lug nuts on the right side of a vehicle are always right-hand threaded, but the nuts on the left side may be left-hand threaded. Look at the lug nuts on your car; in the center of the lugs you should see an R, an L, or no letter at all: I V A lug with an R or with no letter is right-threaded. Turn it counterclockwise to loosen it. 128 Car Insurance saturn sky 2008 roadster2d 153101

V A lugs with an L is left-threaded. Turn it clockwise to loosen it. For the purposes of sanity, I'll assume that your car has right-threaded nuts. If you have a couple of lefties, just turn the wrench in the opposite direction as you follow these steps to loosen the lug nuts: 1. Find the end of the wrench that fits the lug nuts on your car, and fit it onto the first nut. Part I: Getting Started. Always work on lug nuts in rotation. That way, you won't forget to tighten any later. 2. Apply all your weight to the bar on the left. This starts turning the nut counterclockwise, which loosens it. If the nut has been put on with a power tool and you can't get it started, a piece of hollow pipe, fitted over that left-hand arm of the cross-shaft wrench, magically adds enough leverage to start the nut easily (see Figure 1-4). After you replace the nut yourself, this aid is no longer necessary. But remember, the longer the arms on your lug wrench, the more leverage you have. Figure 1-4:

A hollow pipe and a cross-shaft wrench can loosen the tightest lug nuts. Don't remove the lug nuts completely; just get them loose enough so that you can remove them by hand after raising the car (a feat explained in an earlier section of this chapter, "The Safe Way to Use a Jack"). Changing the tire Once the vehicle is safely jacked up and the lug nuts are off, follow these instructions to change the tire: 1. Remove the spare from the trunk if you haven't already done so. Actually, it's easier to do this before jacking up the car. If you haven't checked your spare recently, keep your fingers crossed that it has enough air in it! Roll the spare to the scene of the action. 2. Grasp the flat tire with both hands and pull it toward you. The flat tire sits on the exposed bolts that the lug nuts screwed onto. As you pull the flat off, it should slide along the bolts until, suddenly, it . Chapter 1: Things Every Driver Should Know O 2

clears the end of the bolts and you find yourself supporting its full weight. Tires are heavy, and you'll be quite happy to lower it to the ground (if you haven't already dropped it). 3. Roll the flat along the ground to the trunk to get it out of the way. 4. lift the spare onto the lug bolts.

Because tires are heavy, you may have a little trouble lifting the spare into place — especially if you're not accustomed to lifting heavy things.
